Visit to Adopt
Due to ongoing understaffing, the Adoption Center is currently open for adoptions by appointment, Tuesday-Sunday. Check out our adoptable pets here and if you see someone you’d like to meet, give us a call!
School, Scout, and Other Childrens’ Groups
We are happy to provide educational visits for groups of interested kids as staff availability allows! We will do our best to accommodate classes and groups, so long as we determine that we can do so safely and with proper supervision.

Our tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at Woodford Humane’s history and day-to-day operation, plus information on what drives pet overpopulation and how we can all work together to make a difference. Volunteer Groups
Everything’s more fun with friends – including volunteering! We are happy to accommodate groups of volunteers who want to spend a day working together to earn hours for work, school, Greek organizations, scout groups, etc., but due to limited space and liability restrictions we do need to plan for you (so please, no arriving unannounced).
